SHELF LIFE
12 months when stored in original unopened container. Avoid storage
in extreme heat or cold.
INSTALLATION (PREPARATION)
Surfaces shall be structurally sound, clean and dry, free of wax,
and any other foreign materials that may inhibit bond. Grout should
cure a minimum of 28 days. Satisfaction of grout condition must
be acceptable before the GroutSealer is applied.
APPLICATION
Always test compatibility in an inconspicuous area. When desired
results are achieved, sponge or brush the Mer-Krete GroutSealer
onto the surface and wipe off any excess with a clean absorbent
cloth. This product is designed to penetrate into the treated surface
and no excess sealer must be left on the surface to dry.
CLEANING
Water is all that is needed to remove any GroutSealer while it is
still wet. Do not allow to dry before cleaning tools.
MAINTENANCE
Mer-Krete ColorGrout and ProEpoxy system require routine cleaning
with neutral PH soap and water. Mer-Krete sealers require reapplication
every three to five years depending on use. All other Mer-Krete
Products require no maintenance but installation performance and
durability may depend on properly maintaining products supplied
by other manufacturers.
WARRANTY
Mer-Krete warrants that this product meets applicable ANSI standards
in force at the time of manufacture. Mer-Krete will replace any
product which proves defective due to quality of ingredients used
or due to the manufacturing process itself. The warranty shall apply
only if the product is installed and used strictly in accordance
with applicable industry standards, specifications, and instructions
provided by Mer-Krete. Mer-Krete shall not be liable for misapplication,
misuse or abuse of the product, application as other event outside
of its control.
Replacement of defective product or, at Mer-Krete's option, refund
of the price of product of any defective item shall be the buyer's
sole remedy under this warranty. Mer-Krete shall in no event be
liable for any damages in excess of the purchase price of the defective
product. MER-KRETE SHALL IN NO EVENT BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL,
INCIDENTAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES.
This warranty constitutes the sole and exclusive warranty given
by Mer-Krete in connection with this product, and Mer-Krete has
authorized no person to make or give any other warranties, or representations,
oral or written, on its behalf. IN PARTICULAR, THERE ARE NO IMPLIED
WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT EXCEPTION, WARRANTIES, MERCHANTABILITY
OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. No modification of this warranty
in favor of any buyer shall be valid unless given in writing and
signed by an officer of Mer-Krete.
DISCLAIMER
All Statements, technical information and recommendations set forth
herein are based on tests which Mer-Krete believes to be reliable.
Avoid contact with skin and eyes, wash thoroughly with water after
handling. In case of eye contact, flush immediately and repeat with
water, if irritation persists, consult a physician immediately.
