Mer-Krete™
B.F.P.
WATERPROOF and
CRACK ISOLATION MEMBRANE

DESCRIPTION:
Mer-Krete BFP is a cold, liquid applied membrane reinforced with
a synthetic fabric and protective covering. This thin, load bearing
membrane provides positive waterproofing while inhibiting the
transferral of cracks from the substrate to the finished surface.
This membrane is used in conjunction with tile, stone quarry and
porcelain products.
USE:
BFP Membrane is used in high rise buildings, malls and commercial
facilities under ceramic, terrazzo, quarry, stone tile and shower
pans.
ADVANTAGES:
Installs quickly and cures overnight. Thin section (approx. 1/16")
does not interfere with elevations.
LIMITATIONS:
Should not be used to bridge substrate
expansion joints. Wood subsurfaces must be
adequately blocked at joints. Wire reinforced mud
bed is required on traffic bearing wood substrates.
